The Carbon Underground
I had the pleasure of attending one of Larry Kopald’s speaking events in Los Angeles. He provided a new explanation on why we have climate change, and, more importantly, how easily we can begin to actually reverse it. And the best part is that “Nature is literally dying to help us do it.”
Larry’s mission at The Carbon Underground is to accelerate the adoption of regenerative agriculture at scale to help reverse the climate crisis. Not being an environmentalist, I had no idea the solution could be so straight-forward. Please take a moment to watch the following video explaining his concepts.
The Carbon Underground believes strongly that:
Currently, the economic benefits are stronger drivers and attract more powerful levers of change than those simply based on environmental benefits.
As the public becomes more aware of the breadth of societal benefits from regenerative agriculture and soil health they will become powerful levers of their own, exercising their values as consumers, entrepreneurs, activists, and voters.
By broadly communicating and demonstrating these additional benefits– such as economic growth, increased food and fresh water security, healthier food production, and support for the world’s farmers we believe the transition to regenerative agriculture will continue to accelerate worldwide.
